Soil Moisture Conservation Irrigation Device Instruction Manual
- The Soil Moisture Irrigator penetrates through the thick surface layer of the soil and directly delivers water to the root zone soil of the plants, increasing and maintaining the soil moisture, thereby fully ensuring the survival and growth of the plants.
- The water supply process of The Soil Moisture Irrigator is carried out in a closed space. It slowly releases water into the root zone soil space of the plants and retains all the water in that space. There is no evaporation, leakage or loss of water resources, resulting in a higher water-saving efficiency.
- The Soil Moisture Irrigator can hold 5 kilograms of water and continuously and slowly supply water to the plants for more than 2 months. The guarantee period is more than 5 months and it can independently complete the water supply guarantee task for a growing season.
- The survival rate of xerophytes cultivated in desert areas reaches more than 90%.
【Product Description】
The "Soil Moisture Conservation Irrigation Device" (abbreviated as "Irrigation Device") is a water-saving irrigation equipment specially developed for afforestation in arid and semi-arid regions. It directly supplies water to the plant roots at a depth of 30-50 cm below the soil surface, improving soil moisture. The device has multiple national invention patents.
The product is approximately 80 cm in length and mainly consists of components such as the sealed dustproof cover (①), water storage container (②), water permeation device (④), soil moisture device (⑩), ventilation pipe (⑪), etc. The water storage container can hold 5 liters of water. Through the integrated water-saving control technology from (①) to (⑪), it can continuously provide the required moisture to the plant roots.
The bottom part, the soil moisture device (⑩), is an elliptical semi-closed space. Water from the storage container (②) is slowly released into the soil through the water permeation device (④), which conserves moisture in the soil within the soil moisture device (⑩) and gradually infiltrates into the surrounding soil, increasing and maintaining humidity. The water is fully absorbed by the plant and used efficiently, ensuring the plant's survival and growth.
This technology achieves precise water distribution, management, and high-efficiency use of water resources. The water supply system operates in a closed space, with no evaporation, leakage, or loss of water. The soil does not become compacted or cracked, and the form and characteristics of the soil around the plant roots are fully preserved.
Additionally, the use of this irrigation device does not require a water source and is not limited by the water supply path or distance. A single irrigation or water refill can independently meet the plant's water needs for an entire growing season. Experimental studies show that the survival rate of afforestation using this product exceeds 90%,and it saves more water than drip irrigation and can be reused for 20 years.
The irrigation device has three water supply modes: fast, slow, and temperature-controlled.
- Fast Irrigation Mode: Loosen the sealed dustproof cover (①) to enter fast irrigation mode, where water quickly flows into the plant's root zone.
- Slow Irrigation Mode: Tighten (①), and water will be slowly released into the root zone.
- Temperature-Controlled Mode: The irrigation device will increase water supply in response to rising external temperatures. When the temperature drops below 10°C, it enters dormancy and stops supplying water.
This product is suitable for dry areas in temperate, subtropical, and tropical arid and semi-arid regions. It can be used to plant a variety of trees, shrubs, grasses, fruit trees, vegetables, and medicinal plants. It is also suitable for planting Haloxylon ammodendron with Tamarix ramosissima and inoculating Cynomorium songaricum on Nitraria tangutorum, etc. It is not limited by geographical location, topography, landforms, or soil types.
【Instructions for Use】
1.Assembling the Irrigation Device : Tighten the top port (⑦) of the irrigation device to the bottom port (⑤) of the water storage container. Insert the bottom port (⑨) of the ventilation pipe into the circular hole (⑥) on the side wall of the irrigation device. Ensure that the opening (⑧) of the irrigation device and the ventilation pipe (⑪) are aligned in the same straight line.
2.Digging the Planting Hole : Dig a cylindrical planting hole with a diameter of 40-50 cm and a depth of 50-60 cm.
3.Planting the Seedling : Place the seedling into the planting hole, then fill the hole with about 20 cm of soil and compact it.
4.Placing the Irrigation Device : Position the irrigation device upright in the planting hole, ensuring that the elliptical side opening (⑧) at the bottom of the device faces the main root of the plant, approximately 5-10 cm away from the plant.
5.Backfilling the Soil : Fill the planting hole with soil, compact it firmly, and seal the dustproof cover (①). The top of the water storage container (②) may be slightly above the ground surface, with soil appropriately mounded around it.
6.Watering : Open the dustproof cover (①) and fill the water storage container (②) with water. Use the quick irrigation mode of the irrigation device (do not tighten the cover① for fast water supply), and directly supply 2-3 liters of water. Then add 1 disinfectant tablet at the water inlet (③) of the storage container, fill the container with water again, and tighten the dustproof cover (①) securely to ensure it is airtight. The irrigation device will then enter the slow irrigation mode to provide continuous, stable water to the plant.
7.Remove the Conservation Irrigator : After one growing season, when the plant has grown normally and absorbed the natural soil moisture, the irrigation device can be removed. Fill the cylindrical hole left behind with soil and compact it firmly.
8.Continuous irrigation : If continuous irrigation is needed, simply open the dustproof cover (①) again, add a disinfectant tablet, fill the water storage container (②) with water, and tighten the dustproof cover (①).
9.Storage and preservation : Clean the removed irrigation device and store it in a cool, dry place to prevent mold growth, ensuring it is ready for use next time.
10.Fertilizer and Medication Application : When applying fertilizer or medication to the plant, soluble solutions or substances can be directly added to the water storage container (②) through the water inlet (③) to be released into the soil with the water. Mixtures or insoluble substances can be mixed with the soil and placed in the hemispherical space (⑩) of the irrigation device, where they will slowly be released into the soil with water.
【Precautions】
- The water filled into the water reservoir (②) must be clear, free of pollutants, suspended solids, and sediments.
- When in use, ensure that the dust cap (①) is tightly sealed to prevent leaks and is exposed above the ground.
- Do not use liquids with strong acidity or alkalinity.
- Store the soil moisturizer in a dry and cool environment, and avoid exposure to sun and damp conditions.
